Chances are good that you are well versed in both large and small airports. When you walk into a heavily trafficked airport, what is your experience like? Often, it veers toward one of two extremes: you arrive way too early and end up with plenty of boredom and time on your hands, or you arrive later than you planned due to traffic and parking problems and have to rush through security before running for your flight. 3.14 Ways for Business Owners to Celebrate Pi Day

Posted by Wendy Sheats on March 14, 2016

HAPPY PI DAY!

It is 3/14/16 and the world is celebrating Pi Day because the date resembles 3.14, the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Within the last decade, some mathematicians have questioned the mathematical constant asserting that two times pi (6.28), also known as "Tau", is the true number of the circle. Here at IMAGINEAIR, we've decided to stick with the math needed for flight planning and leave the Pi/Tau theories to the mathematical geniuses.

So whether today is Pi Day or it's Half Tau Day, we love a good excuse to make our customers feel extra special.  Today, we are surprising each passenger flying with IMAGINEAIR with a $6.28 Starbucks gift card. We wanted to make sure that both those who believe in Pi and those who believe in Tau felt the love. For our passengers who believe in Pi, they can use the gift card to buy $3.14 worth of coffee and a sweet treat to share with a friend or colleague. Likewise, for those who feel that Tau is the true constant, they can buy a venti cup of joe and keep it all to themselves. We're happy either way.

As a business owner, you too have to leverage the power of surprise and delight marketing. Think of ways to go the extra mile and acknowledge your customers on a regular basis. Those experiences will build lots of brand loyalty.

In the spirit of Pi Day, here are 3.14 ways that you can make your customers feel sweet today.
